We took the kids to Disneyland a few weeks ago. They were more than excited to jump on the plane and head off to California!
(I lost my camera prior to going to Disneyland so sadly all photos are iPhone pics)
They did really well on the plane rides. Laikynn was a little grumpy on the way there but on the way home we kept her in her car seat in her seat and that helped tons.
Dinners are the best in Disneyland for the kids, you either get a balloon or a character comes to your table!
We went out there with our Friends, Steve and Alisha, they have a daughter, Aspen, who is in Titan's little best friend so they have so much fun together while they are there! They also went with us last year. Then we brought our nanny with us as well, to give her a little mini vaca and the kids loved having her there!
Titan was over the 42 inches so he could pretty much go on any ride, even Tower of Terror. Titan is a fearless little guy and would go on every ride at the park if they would let him. This ride did scare him a little bit but I think it was more the dark and all the scary things going on, not the actual drop.
Her wish came true! My little balloon lover!
Side note: if you buy one of these balloon and anything happens to it, they give you another one for free! :) Both of our kids popped and we went back and got new ones.
Both of the kids were scared of all the characters, which makes the character dinners entertaining.
Happiest place one earth, right??
We also decided to rent some of these bad boys. To rent they are actually the same price as a stroller from Disneyland so we got some. At first when the boys rolled up in them, we just laughed and didn't bother riding on them. But by the end of the first day we jumped on and drove them every where. It made it like a ride going to the ride haha! At night we were one short so I took Titan's spot in the stroller and Devan pulled us, we were quite the site to see in Disneyland!
Two days at Disneyland and California Adventures is more than enough for us. So on Day 3 we cruised down to Seaworld!
We literally got SOAKED at the show!
One of the days we went out to the beach. Laikynn hated the cold water but Titan had a blast!
And these kids swam at the pool every chance they got!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing pure joy in their faces. We had such a fun time!
The first year we took Titan to Disneyland we were taking a photo of him in this same spot when a lady came up to us and told us how she takes her son there every year and every year she takes a photo of him in this same spot, now she has like 15 pictures of him from each year. We decided that was a cute idea and now we have done the same with Titan.
